Castel is without any doubt one of Israel's prime wineries. One of the first family wineries in Israel, it was founded by Eli Ben Zaken in Ramat Raziel in 1998 and has since starred on the local and international scene. The family in whole is involved in growing, production, distribution and export. In 2015 the winery relocated to a modern and luxurious housing in Yad HaShmona and operates a beautiful visitor's center at a spot that deeply reflects the connection with the winery's vineyards planted in prime locations of the Judean Hills. Castel wines are definitely of the utmost quality to be found in Israel.
