In the heart of the Upper Galilee on the western slopes at the foot of Mount Miron at an altitude of 840 to 890 meters, Yosef Saida, scion of a family of farmers, planted the grape vineyards of the Lueria Winery spread over approximately 180 dunams. The uniqueness of Kerem Yosef is expressed in a rare combination of layers of basalt soil, terra rossa and chalk in one plot. The structure of the soil in the vineyard, its high altitude, the drained soil, the unique climate in the area, the irrigation methods using advanced technology, organic fertilization (self-produced compost), create excellent conditions for growing quality wine grapes. Yosef Saida devotes his full effort every day to get the best out of the vineyard, many wineries seek to harvest the wine grapes from Yosef's vineyard, to complete the high-quality and prestigious series. The quality of the grapes in the Yosef vineyard is known and every year the wines produced from the vineyard's grapes win praise and awards.
