Tulip Franc Merlot Reserve consists of Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes that were harvested in a nightly, manual and selective harvest - each variety is harvested separately, at its optimal ripeness. The must was cold soaked for seven days and then fermented at a temperature of 26° - 23°, to extract the aromas characteristic of these varieties and to express the growing area. The wines were aged separately for 6 months, mixed and fermented for an additional 8 months in French oak barrels for gentle aging and improvement. Before bottling, the wine was only coarsely filtered, to preserve its flavors. The wine has aromas of raspberry, green pepper and red fruit, a taste of red fruits and Mediterranean spices. A very rich wine with a long finish.
