Tulip Espero Red is a full-bodied, fresh and fruity wine with delicate and spicy tannins with aromas of violets and red and black fruits with the addition of toasted wood. The line has a long and impressive ending. The grapes, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, are harvested manually in the early morning. When the grapes arrive at the winery they are sorted each variety separately. Each variety is aged separately for about six months and then mixed together and aged for another six months to create the final blend. The word espero means hope in the Esperanto language. The Aspro series was born out of love and connection to Kfar Tikva, the home of Tulip Winery. The inspiration that the Tulip Winery team receives from the people living in the village is expressed in the free and original blends that the winery has produced. Aspero wines are Tulip Winery's tribute to the people and the village. The Aspero series consists of unique blends that express well the Israeli terroir.
