Teperberg Inspire Devotage made from 55% Malbec grapes, 45% Marcellan grapes. The malbec grapes arrived at the winery in the early morning hours after being picked by mechanical harvesting. After a gentle crushing, the grapes were fermented for seven days at a temperature of 28 degrees, while using different target regimes to obtain the best flavors, aromas and color of the grapes. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine underwent a gentle squeeze and the wine without the skins was transferred to an insulated and cooled stainless steel tank for malolactic fermentation, in order to stabilize and soften the wine. The Marsalan grapes, harvested later, went through a similar process, although the targeting regimes to extract flavors, aromas and color were different compared to the Malbek. After the end of the malolactic fermentation, the various wines began the maturation processes in French oak barrels, mostly new, for about 8 months.
Teperberg Inspire Meritage is a dry red wine that combines a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, with the main variety being Cabernet Sauvignon, which makes up 60% of the drink. The fruits were harvested in vineyards in the Samaria Mountains and the Ayalon Valley, creating a particularly interesting blend that gives the drink a wonderful aroma and a taste with a long finish.
