Segal Petit UF unfiltered 2019 "second label" wine for Segal Winery's flagship wine, is a complex and elegant wine, with many sediments, made without filtering or shading. In the heights of the Upper Galilee, at an altitude of 835 meters above sea level, reside the quality vineyards of Segal Winery. These vineyards benefit from fine soil and ideal climate conditions, which yield grapes of exceptional quality. The origin of Petit UF is from selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that come from the Plateau vineyard in the Upper Galilee. A young but promising vineyard containing selected zomerots brought especially from France, from which the seedlings in the vineyard were assembled.
The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Thanks to the unique production process, an elegant wine was obtained with a dominant aroma that combines powerful fruit and impressive complexity. The wine is bottled without any filtering or shading, which contributes to preserving its unique character. The label on the bottle is made of grape pulp and mulberry tree fibers that reflects the unique and original nature of wine making.
