This is one of my wife's favourite wines. It has a nice fruit attack (initial taste) and is consistently, year in and year out, a nice medium bodied easy-drinking wine from the Rioja region that specializes in Tempranillo grapes. Very reasonably priced as well.
Ramon Cardova is a luxurious example of Spain's famous Rioja wines. Crafted from 100% Tempranillo grapes, meticulously chosen from ancient vines enveloping the town of Haro, La Rioja. With its vibrant ruby red hue, an enticing bouquet of ripe wild berries and invigorating balsamic aromas, Ramon Cardova perfectly complements red meat, fish, and delicate, creamy cheeses.
