Odem Mountain Winery is situated at Moshav Odem in the northern Golan Heights. The vineyard plots are set in the northeast edge of the Golan, the highest and coldest vine growing region in Israel. It is characterized by volcanic soil, reaching up to 1,060 meters and recieves snowfall in the winter end
This wine is a deep red, to purple color. It has a distinct aroma of sour cherry, autum leaves and blackberries, with flavors of currants and cherries. It is full bodied with a dry astringency and a persistant, long finish. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
