Odem Mountain 1060 - White Blend
French oak barrels for 10 months.
The grapes for this wine came from the family's vineyards in the north of the Golan in the Baka Valley below Mount Hermonio.
This white wine has a light green color with a touch of gold. Powerful nose of white flowers and a little jasmine. The flavor is noticeable with pear, honey and limestone minerality.
The body of the wine is medium and crisp with a long finish.
This festive wine will wonderfully accompany rich dishes such as locos fillet accompanied by mashed sweet potato and will be the star of any happy event you celebrate.
About the vineyards:
Har Odem Winery's vineyards are planted in the north of the Golan Heights in the Baka Valley at an altitude of 1060 meters above sea level - this is the northernmost and highest wine region in Israel characterized by rich basaltic soil. In the winter the area is snowy and enjoys a considerable amount of precipitation throughout the rainy season, the summer days are sunny and pleasant.
About the vintage year: after five years of drought, the winter of 2019 was the rainiest in years (over 1100 ml).
