Has a deep purple color with aromas of sweet pine, eucalyptus, red fruits and delicate aromas of black pepper. The wine sits in oak barrels, half of which are new and whose influence can be found in the aromas of vanilla and dark chocolate. A balanced acidity wine that emphasizes the rich flavors of the Syrah variety with soft, round and velvety tannins that accompany a full-bodied wine. In the tasting we discover flavors of plum, cherries and hints of eucalyptus which we also found in the initial aromas. The wine continues to develop in the glass in a fascinating way with earthy flavors, leather and hints of tobacco.
The grapes were harvested late in the season as clusters with small berries in which the concentration of fruit flavors is high and the sugar level is high, in order to produce a full-bodied wine. Some of the clusters go into fermentation when they are whole, in order to give the wine a greenish character, with fresh tannins and herbaceous aromas. After the fermentation is finished, we raise the temperature of the tank and proceed to hot soaking on the skins for about two weeks, to give the wine a rich texture. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, with most of it sitting in new barrels.
