The Carignan grapes come from a 45-year-old vineyard planted in limestone soil. The mature age of the vineyard and the hard layers of the limestone soil result in low yields, a natural concentration of powerful flavors and aromas in the grape. After manual harvest, gentle fermentation and maceration for 20 days, the wine was aged in 300-liter French oak barrels for 18 months. The wine is fresh, round, balanced and elegant with a slightly rough structure and a long and pleasant finish. An elegant red composed of many layers of flavors and aromas. Prominent presence of spices and strawberry. Has a high obsolescence potential. Especially suitable for light meats, pizzas and Mediterranean dishes.
