In 1946, a community of Hungarian Hassidim from Ratzfert, Hungary relocated from the camps of Central Europe to Tangier, French Morocco. They soon discovered a wine reminiscent of the famous Northeast Hungarian wines. Acacia aromas lead to flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, lime and orange zest. One sip and you will understand the comfort this wine brought, reminding these special people of their village and the warm, charming people who made it famous.
