Knighrs Vallev is a narrow, high-elevation repion on the eastern edge of Sonoma County. Ocean breezes filter in from the west, bringing a noticeable cooling effect.

Despite this, Knights Valley experiences warm davs and cool nights, making it the warmest AVA in Sonom County. Much of the valley is characterized by soils rich

in volcanic ash and clay.
