About the Vintage: The winter leading to the harvest had a large number of cold spells (in some areas breaking the record of accumulated cold spells per season), contributing to even budding, high fertility and good, balanced growth of the vines. The season continued with moderate spring and summer temperatures, leading to homogeneous and continuous ripening. In most vineyards, yields were higher than average and of high quality at the same time.
