Chateau Saint Corbian Saint-Esteph 2018
This wine is a blend of 50/50 Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The nose of this wine is screaming cassis, with rich dark fruit, roasted herbs, plenty of licorice, dark chocolate and mounds of clay. The palate of this medium-bodied wine is pleasant, with good extraction, showing rich fruit, more black raspberry, rich earth, cranberry, cassis, followed by roasted wild herbs, oregano, rosemary and of dried mint, with nice cloves and salinity. The finish is long and simple, with good grass, spice and cassis long with saline and tobacco. Pleasant. To drink from 2020 to 2024.
