The Pomerol from Château Montviel has an expressive nose combining aromas of fresh fruit and spicy and peppery nuances. Powerful and suave attack on the palate marked by a very nice balance between all the components of the wine; fruit, wood and structure. Magnificent harmony due to the complementarity of Merlot and Cabernet Franc bringing roundness and tension respectively. Very long on the palate ending on velvet where the finesse and conjugation of the tannins of the wine are combined. A wine that can be kept for 10 to 12 years and can be served with white or red meats or cheese at a temperature between 16 and 18°C.
