Aged 31 years on average, the vines are planted on soils composed of dry and clayey gravel and a subsoil of shelly limestone with clay veins. The blend of Château Malartic-Lagravière red 2016 is 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. The wine is aged on fine lees in oak barrels (80% of which in new barrels).
