Rich, concentrated and ripe, the great wine of Château Clarke is today a reference figure in the South Médoc. Coming from plots with low yields and manual harvesting, the grapes are sorted in the cellar and vatted by simple gravity. The wines are then aged for the most part in new barrels, where they will mature for 14 to 18 months. Château Clarke2020 is blended with 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, a perfect reflection of the grape varieties of this 55-hectare vineyard. The latter is particularly conducive to the expression of Merlot, a rare feature in the Médoc. A wine with a harmonious profile that will reveal its full potential in a few years.
